The Sun is a 6-column metro-sized newspaper that comes out every Wednesday. We maintain a second-class mailing permit and have had paper of legal record status in our area for over fifteen years (as approved by Grant County Superior Court).

 
Our open rate for advertising is $5 per column inch. Discounts are available for volume advertisers. Legal notices are $6 per column inch.

Classified ads are $3 for the first fifteen words, 10˘ per word thereafter.

Insert pricing: single 8x10 sheets are 10˘ per insert. Other inserts range from 13˘ to 15˘ per insertion.
 

OTHER INFORMATION:
 

The South County Sun has circulation all over south Grant County, including newsstand in Royal City, Mattawa, Desert Aire, MarDon Resort, and Schawana. We have many subscribers in the Othello area as well. We have a translator on staff and have been able to offer a small translated section for our Hispanic readership.

Recent population estimates in the 80 square miles of territory we cover peg our population at about 20,000 people. We’re growing!
